The process of buying a property in Greece is simple and straightforward, when the right steps are followed. <\/p>

Once the buyer finds the appropriate property and comes to a pre-agreement with the seller, he assigns to a lawyer to conduct the legal investigation of the property title deeds.<\/p>

Subsequently, a Greek Tax Identification Number (AFM) is issued and a notary is appointed to draw up the purchase contract, actions that carried out by the buyer’s lawyer.<\/p>
